Leash simply split, not at a seam just along the weave itself. Seems the material simply isn't very strong/durable. But no leash was enclosed.

Previously i purchased the rope style leash that claimed to be super durable, but the rubber foamy part slipped off and tore.

This leash may be pricey but it has been worth every penny since my cocker spaniel puts it to the test every day.
