Pros

I love these things, it is a little pricey. This mat is so much nicer. Happy with purchase and would recommend. But thankfully, this product is perfect for us.

The mats is silicone with a 1 inch tall lip around the mat. The square and sturdy sides & corners helps keep the liquid and food inside. Has a decent size lip to keep the water the dogs spill in place.

Dog is a messy eater. Cat likes to stick his paws in his food dish, and this mat keeps his food contained to the mat! I have 2 grown shepherd dogs and they make a mess when they drink water.

Cons

The mat itself is very flimsy. The material is not sturdy enough to pick up, it collapses and makes the water spill more of a mess. Impossible to do this without spilling from the matt.

The description says its waterproof, it is not. I am disappointed in ths product.

I just unpacked it so it is still settling from being rolled up but i am very happy with it!

Other cheaper rubber mats werent cutting it because he'd push his bowl right off of them.
