Hoping it lasts and doesnt have the mechanical problems some others have after a couple months but it will be a nice display box if it does fail

Was a nice winder box inserts a little small for some watcheshad to buy extenders to make watch fit

You can do it without shimming it but your watches will slide around and make contact as they are winding which will possibly scratchwear the cases in the same spot the watches end up sliding into each other with each rotation

Also if you have very large watches over 40mm case diameter youll have to offset the watches they wont align side by side
