Pros

There is a small wound piece of wire inside the rim that hex bits with indents will catch on, holding them in place. I would recommend using a magnetic bit holder in addition.

Don’t waist the time and money on this part,it’s just a gimmick.

The design of this extender and the bits are flawed and needs a redesign. This extender is not made to be used with regular bits. It creates a clunky “rube goldberg” fusion of multitool and bit driver.

Like many others have commented, the bits get hopelessly stuck in and need a vise to remove. Bits are ridiculously difficult to remove and require a pair of pliers.

My $25 kershaw selectfire knife has a better blade and a built-in bit driver and storage for 4 double sided bits that don't cost me $2 a piece. Standard sized bits are too short and sink down into the tool way too far. Leatherman bits fit sloppy and l... Read More

Spread the good newsthe pesky wire keeper so many have complained about has been upgraded to a magnetic bit holder as of 2023.
