Highlights
Quality
Love the product good quality fits great
Hip padding feels sturdy and would absorb an impact from mtb fall.
0s because they breathe better and have almost as good protection.
0 version that has additional tail bone and hip bone protection, but no shammy (which i don’t need for gravity riding).
Price
They are pricey but if they last they will be worth it to me.
Competitiveness
Compared to similar shorts i’ve tried, these are really comfortable for short rides or full days on the trails.

First i trust leatt’s tech products and reputation though i don’t have lots of experience with their bicycling gear for offroad motorcycling i do have a set of their zframe knee braces and tried an armored shirt that i actually liked but that did not fit me well

So my one niggle with comfort is the chamois in my copy has kind of a “mold defect” that results in a small raised area almost like a seam that interacts negatively with my taint
