I like that it lights up while charging, which ensures me that it’s working. It feels quite heavy duty and durable as it should for these types cables. Insulation feels thick and weight is quite heavy. Cord gauge appears good as well.

This charger has a thick cable and durable handle. Foot cable is longer than many i researched. This one has a thicker cable.

Cons

The cardboard box it came in says it is ce-marked. The instruction manual is unclear on what the yellow led ring means. All of the photos and diagrams in the instruction manual show a green led ring.

The charging cable is of excellent quality.

Shut off after five minutes, works on 120 not 240.

It also has no way to set max charge amperage, so the car needs to support doing that if you don't want to charge at the max rate.

At this price, it is a great investment to make.

Product came packaged well, and on opening, the cords are branded duosida.

Truly annoying since the box it came in and the manual say 16 amp everywhere.

The positive impression begins as soon as you open the box and note the thoughtful packaging and sturdy case it arrives in.

Competitiveness

Tesla has their travel evse, and the chevy bolt and mustang mach-e both have their webasto made ones.

Like that this has the option to charge at level 1 or level 2 - more flexibility than a lot of other evses out there.
