Pros

Includes all hardware for installation into your garage or carport. Installation is easy for the diy'er if you have the 50 amp circuit with the right wall receptacle. Wall mount bracket to the wall, mount the charger on it, and plug it in.

The display is easy to read and tells me everything i want to know. The build quality is great and the unit looks really sharp. Very satisfied with the product and the price. It's awesome. I'm loving it so far.

It's cheaper, is a smart charger with some level of wifi control, and you can use it without the j1772 adapter. For any non-tesla that uses a j 1772 plug, this is a nice alternative however.

Standard j1772 connector, lcd display, hook and holster are included in the package as well. The charging cable is a very good quality cable. The cable is compatible with the j 1772 charging station.

Cons

The plug's port was also bubbled from the heat. It's very frustrating. I have a 2022 kia ev6 and i have to restart charging at least 8 times to get a full charge as this charger constantly fails.

So, in summary - if you have a tesla, don't bother - there are better options.

It took a lot longer to charge the audi with a smaller battery than my mercedes with a larger battery due to this unit.
