I wear mine almost every day if you wear it upside down around your neck it is usable in that positionbatteries last a long time and eventually after 2 straps and countless work hours the plastic loops gave out

They break after a time the plastic battery latch breaks off and then the unit lives on with surgical tape holding it together

This is my goto headlamp but the clip that holds the battery compartment closed broke off after about 4 years of occasional but steady use maybe 1 recharge every 2 weeks

It took me awhile to figure out a makeshift way of fixing this velcro tape with the bottom half cut in two and straddling the compartment edges
