Pros
Leds are of a very good brightness and have lovely deep colour tones. Range of colour and brightness control is excellent. Rgb led's are pretty accurate in replicating whichever colour you choose on the app.
Using the meross app' is very simple and the brightness, colours and some preset modes can all be selected there. The lights appear on my home app and you can change brightness, colors etc and incorporate into scenes and automation.
The only afterthought is that there should be an option to purchase these with a power extension. Purchasing these lights will force you - if not there already - into the murky world of smart home technology. Nice integration with the apple home app.
The strip light adhesive is superb as well, made by 3m. The box also contains five fixing clips and a connector. The stickiness of the tape is good.

Quality
The quality of these leds are amazing compared to other led strip kits on amazon.
The app works well, connecting the strip to it was easy and it took just a few minutes.
It’s also slightly frustrating that the product comes with two strips but only one connector.
Packaging/appearance
The light is easily added through the homekit app simply scanning the qr code you can then name and add your lights to a room/scene.
Competitiveness
Much better than the other offerings in a similar price.
These meross lights are great quality and you get everything you need included in the box.
No remote as this has its own apps and homekit, alexa, google control.
As usual with meross products, ensure you don't have a 5ghz wifi bonded onto the 2.

Initially when i installed the kit using homekit i noticed several issues with colours not syncing correctly and when telling the strip to turn off it would leave the ww and w on very dimly if certain colours were selected

This led to quite a bit of frustration when a firmware update was not available for it on the meross app

Lastly whilst the mains transformer comes with a good length of cable the tails on the interface box are very short and could have done with being twice if not three times longer as it makes it awkward to hide out the way so close to the end of the strip

I wish that it was a little bit more gradual in changing colour and brightness because it just kinda instantly changes colour and when you turn them off or on they cut outin instantly unlike the hue strips

If you’re putting these on the ceiling or top of the wall you will need to figure something out or look for an extension because the cord is only like 2ft long
