It turns out that you have to mount it counterclockwise facing the tv from the back the right side where the usb plug is the top which is the middle and longest segment and the left which has no usb

So once the led were mounted all i had to do was mount the camera of which i had to replace the tape with the 3m mounting tape and the controller somewhere in the middle between the right led usb plug and the camera usb plug and the power cord coming up from the floor power outlet

Once the led got powered up you just need to download the govee home app connect to it via bluetooth set up the wifi which must be 2

Once that is setup you need to calibrate the tv through the camera and after a lot of fooling around i realize that the camera image is a fisheye which meant the calibration points are not a square but rather a triangle see photo

The other thing is that during the day with reflections from windows the back led will represent the colours from the reflections and not the tv

All one colour just makes your tv a square in a single colour background
