The issue is that connect is just a smidgen to wide and thick so it does not tuck up into the channel enough for the diffuser to snap in

Not sure if its ok to remove the paper on the back of the led lights as the light strip has copper contacts on back and if i stick it to the aluminum track

Then recovered just the contact spots with a small piece of paper as to not get a short
