The 3000k color readering is very natural and was specifically chosen for that over the brighter and physically much larger 5000k led floods by the same company

This fixture replaces a conventional halogen flood light one of those with the pencilthick bulbs that dont seem to last at all at least in my fixtures and while this led unit does not throw quite the long beam of the halogen neither does it draw anywhere near the 150300500watts of those halogen hotties which also in my case are in locations that are very hard to access and change therefore i hope this one lasts a very long time

I dont have any way to measure lumen output but it seems easily to do the 1650 rated lumens which wikipedia suggests approximates a 100watt incandescent lamp
