The system is pretty much plug-and-play and uncomplicated. The pamphlet shows a few ways to wire the system. Easy to install.

Backing into parallel parking or lining up with a trailer hitch, it is priceless. Overall a great backup monitor system for my ford expedition.
View from the windshield is not obscured. Cars in the back are a lot closer then they appear but that must be an artifact. Even without the additional led lighting the camera sees in the dark very well with the vehicles brake and reverse lights alone.... Read More
Cons
The image is so clouded that you can no longer see what is behind you. The only good thing is the dashboard mounting kit. The issue we have is that it was advertised to have a dash mount or suction cup mount.

- under severe heat (over 100f vegas weather) the suction bracket is loosing tightness on the round joint causing it to droop.
Having to put in windshield with a suction is very outdated.

I got a quote from some guy who quote me $500 so i went to amazon and found this for under $100.
Was not expecting much for $30 but it sure impressed me.

Took me awhile to install as it can be difficult to get the license plate frame off if you have bolts on the back then you have to run the wire and splice the connection to the brake light so that it only turns on when youre in reverse but the steps themselves are simple
