Pros
The legacy set is meant to be prized, cherished and used in a restful home setting. The wood joinery is very good -- warm, well varnished, and smooth. The print is very beautiful.
Manufacturer did a decent job of concealing the contacts. Folds easily and has an overall nice aesthetic.
The box closes well and evenly. The box holds the game pieces in velvety casing. Plastic foam holds the case suspended in the very nice product box.
As someone who is approaching 9,000 rated games, i have a special appreciation for a decent board, and this is one. Nothing beats the classics. The price is a bit high but the workmanship rates that price for a set like this.
Bought 2 of these for xmas gifts. For a wood set, this ranks as family nice. She expects that this game will last for the rest of her life.
Cons

I found the instructions to be a little lacking for newbies but we managed alright with some supplementary reading from the internet
