Poor plot, poor characters. Quite plain. Didn't connect to the story or characters. I hate giving bad reviews on books, but this one was so boring.

I never would have expected that a story about opening a coffee shop in a fantasy setting would make for a good story despitehow many ttrpg characters seem to retire from adventuring to run their own tavern much as viv the orc protagonist and proprietor of the titular coffee shop has done but i was hooked from the beginning
