Pros

My three grandsons--8, 5, 3--loved this. Great fun gift for8 year old. Bought this for our 4 year old daughter. He now has it proudly displayed on his shelf in his bedroom!

The large coast guard boat even has a submersible that can deploy from the back of the boat. He loves that the boat actually floats.

Cons

After completing it still has a gap where the legos will not stay down. I assume it will not float either now because water will get into it.

Great set my son couldn't wait to build it and float it in the tub.

A lot of pieces and a lot of help needed by my 7 year old sono to assemble it, but he loves it

I knew it was going to be too hard for her to build, but she is enjoying playing with it.

Lego set was good, the savings by taking out the credit card made a good price.

My nephew loved it he is lego fanatic he wants another 9one i wish they wernt so expensive

To keep things in perspective, the original retail price for this set was $79.

In closing, if you're able to find this set for near or close to the retail price, then i would recommend picking it up.
