Pros

Most of the modulars are still in production and lego seems intent on continuing the line, so while it'll be pricey, you'll be able to build your street for a long time to come. Some of the mechanics of it are very intricate and it turns out awesome.

Better pricing than the local lego store. The packaging is perfect, brand new state. The price is about the same everywhere you find this particular one (fire brigade 10197), so buying here at least avoids you struggling with the crowds in the mall.

They love to be creative will stay occupied because they are anxious to see the final result. While the build itself isn't as entertaining as the other modular sets, the final piece is very nice.

This is great for any advanced lego builder. Perfect for the lego addiction in my home. Unique details show the innovation of the lego designers.

Cons

Now the company requires faxed documentation with a copy of your receipt etc. They think they are too smart to make a mistake and make you feel like a felon.

Item arrived quickly and in good condition.

For some reason amazon wouldn't post to australia, so i had it delivered to my sister in vegas and flown out.

Packaging perfect, brand new state,the price is very good, thanks.

Once opened, all parts were still in factory packaging and all there.

For anyone concerned, mine did not have the "missing bags" issue that earlier boxes seemed to have.

As far as lego fire departments go, this is by far the best one yet.

Found the price here at amazon lower than any of the other toy and big box store i shopped.
