Pros

Markup is standard for discontinued sets so i wouldn't say i was overcharged for the market, but it's worth noting this. I wish i bought the set sooner when it was considerable cheaper.

This is the perfect stocking stuffer around christmas time. This is exactly what my grandson wanted. I'm 26 years old and still collecting, this is a great piece to show off and a very easy build.

Two figures--gandalf without his hat, and saruman the white. The saruman minifig is really very good! Although small, this set still looks great! The throne and setting certainly evokes the pivotal moment when gandalf discovers saruman's betrayal.

Saruman’s throne is really very good! I really like this feature because in the actual scene in the “lord of the rings” movie, when the battle begins between gandalf and saruman, then they both use magic to send each other flying.

Cons

I realize it is an older item bit i was disappointed.
