Pros & Cons
Pros
It is for 18 yrs+ and my 10 yr old grandson put it together in 3 - 4 hours. Love this smaller (affordable) version.
Highlights
Quality
It's pretty easy to build, and it looks just like the pictures.
Fun to build, goes great with other star wars legos.
3 (so far, not finished) little scenes from the original trilogy.
Great set, too bad it doesn't have the underbelly guns or an entry rank or detachable landing gear.
Price
Yes, $80 may not be cheap per se.
Packaging/appearance
The box came a bit damaged, other than that was good
Only problem was one 4x10 piece came completely broken in half inside the package!

As with all other complex lego sets i dont think this would be a gift for smaller kids especially because it is a collectors item but older kids and adults will be able to build it easily
