Pros

It has nice features like the working pistons and steering. This looks awesome on a shelf.

This set is close but has close to xero gears. They are more technical, therefore a bit more challenging. Took several hours to build. Seems pretty durable.

My grandson is 17 and a fan of lego since 4. My fiancee loves lego, and the fast and the furious. I wish it would have came in a cardboard box as they usually do. But it's a awesome gift for adults or teens who likes cars and legos.

It was a really fun build, instructions were easy to read and the pieces were easy to find.

The doors and engine parts moving were amazing and the fact that it comes with a light kit and remote kit makes it all the more fun.

All stickers for the build were missing.

The wheel wells are to high from a car enthusiast but overall a great build and lots if fun.

The price dropped to $80 and so i surprised him with it.

The price was lower on amazon than at lego so that was great too.

Packaging/appearance

Came in a great packaged box, arrived in great condition.

The fact that this was shipped in the original lego box blows my mind, no packaging box or wrapped product.

We got hassle free packaging, which worried me, but it came in the proper lego packaging.

Package had a strong but not unpleasant odor.

Competitiveness

I personally prefer the more traditional building sets over the technic line, but this isn't for me.
