Highlights
Quality
Fairly easy to use and well made.
Minor installation hiccup aside, the fan brace is well made and easy to install.
The brace's center bar rotates and the brace will then extend or contract to fit the span ceiling joists.
I embedded the spikes into one joist and hand tightened the tension rod until the spikes made contact with the opposing joist.
Price
Not gonna spend $30+ at the local hardware store.
Packaging/appearance
I them moved into attaching the hanging hardware and bracket for the new light fixture, and realized the box sort of rocked bag and forth.
