Great for lighting up stairwells, hallways and open spaces. Works great, plenty of light for a dark hallway. Have bought one for the other bathroom too. I have a set of stairs that has a light switch at the top.

Cons

It has a cracked plastic attachment bracket (in 3 places) that mounts the outer trim bracket. This is not compatible with led lightbulbs.
