I love the square design, it much more modern looking than the common round design. While not a thing of beauty it has a plain, functional look. I like the little black slides that dd protection.

It's made for high moisture areas. It has a hidden tamper-resistant shutter. It's designed to withstand ultraviolet light and cold temperatures.

Fits well, made well and should last for a very long time.
Tamper resistant, weather resistant, and most of all, easy to install and attractive.
This has got to be the least annoying tamper resistant outlet i've ever used.
The old one is just wearing out and the prongs to any of my extension cords keep falling out of the old one.
Price
For the price it goes for i'd say it's a decent choice.
The only knock is the extremely overpriced covers - $5.
Packaging/appearance
I did install it in a box that will protect it from moisture, but the added water protection will be nice.
The first thing i did after taking it our of the package was to try inserting a paperclip in the receptacle slots.
Competitiveness
With that said, this brand feels, looks and installs just as good as the leviton brand outlets that i have used in the past.
I like this a lot more than the inexpensive plugs at lowe’s or home depot, and the price really isn’t any different.

Any home owner should be able to replace an outlet but call an electrician if ever in doubt

It does not come with a wall plate – most outlets do not so that is not unusual
