Pros

The connector has a sturdy anti-flex, bend resistant strain relief molded over the cable. It is thicker than my other network cables, but it is not so stiff that you can't maneuver around corners.

Workmanship seems rock solid, with durable materials. The cable itself is extremely well made and the connectors are mounted solidly with a little strain relief. The cables feel durable.

The 3foot cables are perfect for my tv stand and have eliminated the unholy cable rats’ nest that it once was. The connectors are solid, ensuring a secure connection. Comes in a convenient 3ft size for easy setup.

Pack of cat-8 is a good price for standard ethernet cable. It is backward compatible which is great since some parts of my network are still from the cat5 era.

Cat8 has a theoretical max speed of 40gbps. It's not 1000/1000 but it's very close at ~ 900 for download and ~ 600/700 for upload. With enough flex to make a bend from u1 to u3-6, the speed is retained from 5gb unit to 5b unit.

Cons

The speeds are too slow when you are expecting higher. It is also thinner than my favorite brand of cat 8 cable, queenmicro. This nonsense isn't even specific to amazon.

But 10gb equipment is getting very affordable and this cable handles it nicely.

This is exactly as described and pictured by the vendor.

The shiny silver box around the connector (shown in the second photo) might just be painted plastic rather than the usual metal.
