Pros & Cons
Cons
What's the point of writing a book where infamous lelith hesperax, one of the greatest fighters in the galaxy, is never challenged? And since when is not a henchwoman for vect?
Highlights
Quality
Absolutely incredible, as a huge drukhari fan this is everything i wanted and more.
Brooks really gets what makes the drukhari interesting, and the book is furnished with tons of incredible little world building details.
It's slightly on the shorter end of stories, but any longer might have made the story feel bloated unnecessarily.
The plot is serviceable at best, but lelith is pretty well drawn and interesting, and the ending is stellar.

Ill always vote for the leaner more compact stories if they deliver a better narrative than a bloated mess that overstretches itself
