I withheld one star because on me the removable pads make the shape slightly strange and their outline is somewhat visible under a tee shirt or sweatshirt

In terms of working out i lift weights and walk so i dont have extensive experience in shock absorption but i chase after my kids like crazy all day and havent felt any discomfort word to the wise just in case you missed it like i did these are not adjustable
