My son loves it - easy for him to use - call quality is acceptable.
For a $30 phone/watch i am very impressed!
That said, i read all about the issues with sim cards and simply went with the manufacturer's recommendation vs.
The one i really wanted to get costs about $130, but i know my son, and i don't want to pressure him too much with the responsibility.

After hours researching on youtube - every success story had one thing in common - tmobile prepaid.
I used tmobile service and speedtalk both.

No clear documentation on getting this working correctly but after a couple calls to tmobile got the sim card on the correct prepay phone and data plan

Gps isnt laser beam accurate but pretty good within 100 feet the mobile app is clunky and non intuitive

I dont bother with most of the features on the mobile app but im impressed at how i get texts on my phone when he takes the watch off when the battery is low or if he goes outside of the very simple geofence you can set up on the app

The only reason im knocking a star off is because of how unclear setup was but to my family this was a perfect solution worth the time it took to get it working
