Pros & Cons
Pros
Laptop comes with 8 gb of memory soldered in. Has 8gb which is okay, but it runs okay. The 512gb m. Ssd is also very fast for this price range. I'm not a gamer or big on using apps that need a lot of ram so i'm very happy with the performance so far.
Under load the fan is definitely audible. Bought this to replace an older hp laptop. Actually my current laptop is a lenovo convertible and i love it, has no issues what so ever.
It's an inexpensive, reliable machine that's well-suited for kids to use to get their homework done and watch youtube.
The keyboard is solid, well spaced and backlit. The touchpad works nicely, and i found it easy to use. The inclusion of a good number pad on the keyboard is great.
The case feels solid and tightly fitted, with no obvious creaking or defects. It is lightweight, yet very sturdy. Lightweight and travel friendly.
Cons
The battery only holds a charge for 4 hours at most. It is inconvenient to have to plug it in and then uplug it once or even twice every day. When it's fully charged, it lasts 2 hours only.
Highlights
Quality
-=build quality=-for the price point, the build quality is quite good, as i would expect from lenovo.
I am very impressed with the performance, display and build quality for the price.
I looked very white/pale and the quality wasn't super clear.
I've done a couple of zoom calls and the quality seems very poor/low.
Shipping
The ssd in this laptop is also very fast for this price range as shown in one of the pictures.
This is surprisingly fast for only 8 gigs of memory.
Packaging/appearance
First impressions:the 3i is solidly built of an all plastic chassis that feels secure.
Summary:you will very much like the fit and finish of the lenovo ideapad 3i.
If you grab both ends of the top of the screen you can get it to flex.

The fans can get really loud if you’re running a game or lots of updates on the laptop i found this a little bothersome as i was updating the windows and the drivers when i first turned the laptop on if didn’t find the fan noise as bothersome after that

Maybe it got better and maybe i got used to them but if you’re just surfing the internet or using word or acrobat for example the fan noise will be minimal if any at all so i didn’t find this to be a big problem
