The performance of this tablet is laughable. I have a 2013 nexus 7 that performs better than this. Not great but ok.

Quality

The screen is clear & easy to readwhat you type or read.

There are some features that are harder to find, like the drop down android menu (top right, instead of top center), but all minor stuff.

It takes a bit longer to open up some apps, but will suit my needs once i've fully explored.

Price

It is cheaper elsewhere, but i like amazon's service so didn't mind paying a few extra $s.

Competitiveness

I miss the cordless charging, but otherwise it does more than the kindle fire, for essentially the same price.

Unfortunately, the apps for kindle do not include many that are available from google apps.
