Pros

Reviewer says he loves the backlit keyboard, but the screen brightness could be better. He also likes the trackpad, which is very accurate. The chromebook flex 5 is a great value for the price.

Only issue i've had is that sometimes the little x to close a tab won't respond. The hinges feel very tight so i hope no issue develops there which was also mentioned in reviews. Overall it's probably the best chromebook i've ever had.

It * to have to be so proactively careful, but what can you do? Makes it feel more expensive than it actually is. I'm retired now and no longer need bells and whistles.

Battery life is another area where this chromebook truly shines. It offers an impressively long-lasting battery that keeps me productive throughout the day. The only negative is after 2 yrs i noticed the battery life starting to shorten.

Cons

It's as though lenovo made a one-hinge laptop with the right hinge expected to perform less work. Screen is completely dark with a 1-degree angle. Bricked itself after a few months. Still under warranty.

Simply a piece of junk. Customer service is so bad i felt compelled to write a review. Seller is sending out multiple defective products and will not stand by them.

However, less than years after purchasing the camera no longer works - all i get is a black screen.

I think overall for the price it's a great value especially if you're looking for a simple everyday computer.

My daughter who is 13 actually saved up for this and bought it with her own money.

Still, i can't complain with the price i paid for it, i'm satisfied with my purchase.

It's nothing special, but it will get the job done and is a decent device for the pricepoint.
