By comparison, oooooooooo. It's unbelievably slow. This is the slowest computer i have owned in 10 years. It runs at a snail's pace.
This laptop is unusable for even the most simple tasks. The 1 ghz cpu is quite slow and gets maxed out when several tasks (say, several browsers) are simultaneously being run. The laptop has uncomfortable amounts of spyware that affect functionality.

The anti virus soft ware was in the mail box but they didnt check there after finding the computer on the porch since they werent expecting the soft ware for another 2 days

I used to use vlc player a lot but it seems to have trouble running vids in 720p so im using a different player instead

I speculate that the reason for this is that vlc seems to use a large amount of processing power and the computer is already using quite a bit just to run windows 8

Occasional not responding when im trying to access my files but i am using three external hard drives so again i suspect that the processing power is just a little low

Games like far cry 3 and the like will not play with smooth framerates on this machine

If your major requires solidworks or other 3d modeling software you may want to purchase a different lenovo
