Pros

Everything still runs smoothly so far. Everything works as advertised. The item is in perfect conditions and with all the specifications, just as expected.

It keeps the laptop out of the spotlight and ensures not only a professional *, but may keep potential theft out of your way. It can handle anything you can throw at it and without sounding like a turbine engine spooling up.

Cons

The monitor isn't exactly the best when it comes to brightness. One of the speakers seems to have a short. Noise appears after reboot on ac power, regardless of cpu load. Shutting the laptop to go to sleep mode results in the fan spinning up.

The red outlined keyboard is also hideous. It is obnoxious red plastic outlining of the keys. The red lettering on black keys is completely unreadable.

I have completed a displaycal calibration with the i1display x-rite, and the results were as i expected: about 54% srgb and 38% adobergb.

Price

An amazing computer for a great price thank you being able to turn the touch pad off was a great feature

Cpu:the i7-7700hq is a decent ~10% upgrade to the 6th gen.

Shipping

My shipping came three days after i ordered it and i've been loving it for a month.

Packaging/appearance

All other games were icing on the cake.

I returned it for a refund and replaced it with a y700, which is quite comparable.
