But i had to put on my thinking cap when bob of all tradess review said that the acer fan control software concerned him greatly because it made the laptops noise and performance entirely dependent on the reliability of its acer predatorsense software package overlayed onto the windows 10 home build and not integrated into the uefi bios or component circutiry

From bobs more indepth testing of that unit it seems that when the fan control was not installed at the os level or even your profile overwritten he would have no control over any of these features from the bios hardware buttons or windows power management control panel
