I am not in love with the kickstand style support for when using it as a laptop, but even that feels rock solid.
Pros - the stylus works well, though i've only doodled with it a small amount.
The battery life is not the greatest, but i have not had issues with running out of battery- though i am yet to travel with the tablet.
Price
I could not stomache the cost of the new surfaces, and after much research i settled on the miix 510.
Packaging/appearance
The pen is a nice way to use the tablet without dirtying the screen.

This made me realize that the reason you typically see this problem on a digital screen is because your plastic pen on the glass screen gives littletono friction so every single hand movement is exaggerated

When you write on paper the lead or ball point on your penpencil produce some sort of friction so even when your hand slightly moves it isnt necessarily recorded on the paper since the friction keeps the tip in place

The end result looks a lot more like a pen or pencil on paper than your typical stylus on a digital screen

I was hoping to use my laptop dock to also power the laptop but that wont work since the miix requires a proprietary power supply
