These plates do well in the dishwasher, they are very lightweight. Perfect for cereal, fruit or snacks. My only complaint is they are not fully dishwasher safe.

My previous purchase of lenox plate set is much heavier product. However, it feels cheap and of bad quality. Very cheaply made. But do not look beautiful for very long.

I'm stunned that a company like lenox would use it. Sadly, these were made in china. I am very disappointed because they are lennox. Oh well, what a waste of my money.

It's not that the bowls will melt or become damaged, it is because it is dangerous to humans. They cannot be used with acidic foods (so no citrus foods, no tomato products) check with the fda websites before buying. Not microwave safe on the label.
