Pros & Cons
Pros
I'm very impressed with the basically 3mm blade stock that is hair shaving sharp. I'm not sure how easy it will be to sharpen it, however.
The hawk bill design is one of my favorites for general purpose as it pulls material into the blade. It's also much better than a straight blade for wire/cable stripping. It’s nice that it is user adjustable.
The handle itself is dual injection molded with a blue rubber grip. The blade opens smoothly, and the locking mechanism is firm but easy. It has the nubs on either side to make the blade easy to open with one hand.
The pocket clip itself is strong, long, and of the deep carry variety. Works just as well clipping to the outside of a pocket for easier access. There’s a belt clip that enables you to keep the knife outside your pocket.

I had struggled with trying to use various knives and scissors for cutting the carpeting with very little success

But once i got my hands on this hawkbill knife the project just went from extremely tedious and annoying to being a fun project

The knife only locks in the open position not the closed so there’s a small possibility that the knife could come open in a pocket if the pins on the side of the blade get caught in material

The knife itself has a tough plastic outer skin wrapped around the steel inner core
