Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The design is simple yet elegant with well polished edges. The “pearl platinum” finish is very bright and remains spotless, even after several hearty meals and several runs through the dishwasher.

It has a very balanced, hefty not too heavy, but it feels substantial in the hand. It's a littler larger overall than my old set from the 70's. It is shiny.

Lenox silverware is very nice, and several classes above the rest of the silverware in my drawer. The pieces are heavyweight and shiny, and more substantial than cheaper sets.

The knife blade is not serrated, but is fairly sharp for a dinner knife. It seems like a lot of sets have very large spoons, these are right sized. The place fork seems a little large but not too bad. All pieces are sized and weighted well.

Cons

The table knives have smooth, dull blades without any serration nibs and don't cut food well. There is no serration on the blade.

Packaging/appearance

The style of the ones we received is very attractive, but they do not have a ball at the "neck" like the photo shows.

Competitiveness

I have recently had the opportunity to see flatware that sells for almost twice what this sells for, and i think this set compa...  Read More
