The cd mentions images several times and says the images can be found in a pdf download. Like a myriad scholars who promote leonardo, he simply ignores the anomalies between leonardo's life and the reality of the notebooks. Leonardo deserves better.

The matte pages make leonard’s art seem flat and lifeless and made his subtle shadowing and use of color difficult to appreciate

The photos don’t fully communicate just how much brighter fuller and more alive the illustrations are in the hard cover version with gloss finish and how much higher the print quality is
