Pros & Cons
Pros
Walter isaacson presents a candid picture of davinci the genius along with captivating analyses of his works. This is some of isaacson’s best biographical writing.
The book convincingly presents the artist, engineer, scientist, the quintessential renaissance man. The plants in his painting as well as the landscapes were all researched and are botanically and geographically accurate.
Cons
It reads like a long encyclopedia passage. It gets tiresome to keep reading the same things so many times.
