These work as advertised. Holds the leafs together well with out any slipping. Pre-drill all the holes for the screws to go in.

The original ones were crazy expensive and were cheaply made for the price.

We purchased a large wood patio table with two folding leaves to extend the length the problem is that the table tends to 34separate34 at the seams when in use

We ordered these and installed them to the table without the leaves extended then extended one leaf and installed the clasps then the second leaf

I will also say that the screws are kind of cheap but that seems to be the case with everything coming from overseas they really skimp on these screws for hardware products

A template is not provided so i highly suggest making one out of a small piece of 1434 plywood before you start especially if you cant flip your table over and have to work upside down

Predrill 31634 holes in your template and use those holes to predrill the four 31634 holes into the table underside for the lock and catch

Add about 31634 between the lock and catch so it will pull the leaves tight otherwise it will be a little loose

Experiment mounting one lock on a scrap piece of wood using your template before drilling into your table
