The first two stories were very compelling atmospheric and had a strong sense of place whereas the 3rd story fell apart for me and was a bunch of chatter about nothing

After seeing them used as a symbol and canvas for several other characters to project their differing attitudes i would have loved to see the multiperspective format used to take us inside the life of one of the cheerleaders to see how she views herself but no such luck

All 3 of the books come together and at the end you get all the characters from all 3 stories into one place

It was very obvious the whole time but the way the story is i am pretty sure the author wanted it that way
