As shown in the blue pots picture, the left is from let's resin and the right is from a different brand.
So, i tried again with a different brand of casting powder.
There are several things i like about it compared to other brands and at least one unusual result i can’t explain.

The only issue i noticed is that if your mold has any projections or thinner transitional areas these may not be quite as durable as standard epoxy resin

Its not quite as soft as say plaster of paris but theres a bit of brittleness there

Im going to have to experiment a bit with my ratios and perhaps some addins to see if that helps any even though its an issue i dont anticipate encountering all that often
