Pros

I'm new to resin work, and this mat is a game changer! I suppose that would be the only drawback is that the mat doesn't have a temp gauge of any type.

It cures your work in less than half the time! It speeds up your resin curing without an exothermic reaction. My elder futhark runes was fully cured within 3 hours.

I actually use this with my thicker letters and it still works. Buena compra. Seems to work good.

It heats up over a period of a 20 mins typically. I make sure my work area is 75-77 degrees (f) and i use the hottest setting. Heat mat makes a huge difference in the curing time.

Cons

Small mold sit uneven and fill uneven. It bends and seems like it still didn't cure all the way. There's no way to measure the temperature, it's just a dial up without numbers.

Quality

I bought the seat back after having very little success with the heat gun.

I don't know if it was a result of the drying process or the quality of the resin i was using.

No wonder i was frustrated with the old way of waiting overnight.

Packaging/appearance

I set my resin bottles on the mat to warm up a bit before mixing.

Once i did mix the resin (i used a silicone mixing cup), i set it back on the mat and it got rid of most the bubbles.

For example, you want to wait to turn it on for a bit after you use pigments.
