Pros

It speeds up your resin curing without an exothermic reaction. The only drawback is that the mat doesn't have a temp gauge of any type.

If you don't have a battery operated mixer get that too it’s amazing. Purchased as a gift for my wife.

This mat s pretty nifty. The entire thing is flat and smooth and even. It all depends on the thickness of the resin.

Cons

It bends and seems like it still didn't cure all the way. The part that connects the power cord to the mat causes the mat to be unlevel. No longer level for my molds.

I have never had any issues with the heating mat getting warped are buckling nor my resin curing weird.

I bought the seat back after having very little success with the heat gun.

I don't know if it was a result of the drying process or the quality of the resin i was using.

No wonder i was frustrated with the old way of waiting overnight.

Update; seller contacted me and worked with me to get my situation fixed and was truly a fast response.

Packaging/appearance

I set my resin bottles on the mat to warm up a bit before mixing.

Once i did mix the resin (i used a silicone mixing cup), i set it back on the mat and it got rid of most the bubbles.

For example, you want to wait to turn it on for a bit after you use pigments.
