Pros

Leupold alumina flip back lens cover - 24mm. You need to unscrew the rubber eyepiece from the scope in order to mount this cap. It fits post 2004 riflescopes with 28mm objective lens. These scope caps are outstanding.

They fit leupold scopes like a glove. They are lightweight, less bulky, and more durable than other scope covers.

Spendy but well worth it. Saved a bundle of cash by rolling the dice and getting a heavily discounted cover from the warehouse.

Fit 1. Vx-r with duplex. Fit the eyepiece - ocular of my vx-r patrol.

Cons

If they were very high quality, they should screw in and stay put very firmly. Some reviews say they fit and even alumina info says they fit but not.

I am further impressed with with the quality of operation how they soft open quietly.

Easy to install, easy to use, and they feel like they will last a long time.

Once started , rotate the inner bearing with your fingers (you will see grooves on the inner bearing for gripping with your fingers).

I own 5 leupold rifle scopes and everyone of them have a lens cover.

Price

High price is the only reason i would not give this product 5 stars.

(you can entire cheap scopes for that kind of money.

At nearly $50 a piece - these covers better do the job right.
