Pros

This clamshell-type replacement plug is pretty much what you would expect. The only drawback is the hollow areas of the plug, which can break if abused or if anything heavy is dropped on the plug.

There is a bit of a learning curve to wiring this up but the extra time is worth it. Simple and easy to attach to cord. A little challenging if being used on a thick or stiff cord, but doable.

Cons

First of all, the cord is to thick to fit. Second, the plug is extremely difficult to connect. Thirdly, it is a grotesque piece of plastic that may fit the hands of big foot or maybe godzilla.
