The old unit capped the divices that ran off of it at 100 mbps my primary computer comes before this unit but other computers in the house were off of it

I actually have two of them connected to a leviton 47611wg4 wireless router all in a leviton smc

Thats just fine for common household networking if you need more than that you should probably have a proper equipment closet served at least by your central hvac
