I did re-machine the inside of the plug for the 5/8' wire and the strain relief is flush with the bottom of the plug.
It is of the same quality (see my review) but lacking in that it does not have a removable strain relief insert.

Normally the lugs on electrical connectors are marked x for the black wire and w or y for the white wire but this plug is not marked so make sure you check the table on the paper that comes with it

The brass colored lug is for the black wire and the silver colored lug is for the white wire
