I use it to replace a magnetic contact switch which prove to be much much more durable. It works well in areas where 220v is used.

I used it on a 15 amp circuit , the switch looked very sturdy .

He has broken many paddle-type switches and plates.

This design forces him to use a finger to flip the switch rather than slap the wall, hard.

Competitiveness

I bought all 3 brands of 20amp commercial grade switches.

A 3rd brand called enerlites is almost identical to leviton in size, and weight, but it makes a cheap hollow sound when you flip it.

Surprisingly l-p&s was much cheaper than the other 2 brands of 20amp commercial grade switches.
