Pros

Switch has a reasonably bright neon lamp behind a red lens. It allows the pilot light to illuminate when the switch is closed. The indicator insures the light is not left on accidentally.

Wiring this switch is more than simply moving the existing wire connections to this new switch. It requires a neutral wire, and if you have a neutral in your box you can run a pigtail to make the connection. My whole house is wired in 14/2 & 12/2.... Read More

A nice switch and matches the regular decora switch line. I'm not sure why several reviews complained about the quality of this switch. Its a good switch.

Cons

All parts of the switch suffer from some degree of light leakage. When power was applied to the screw lug for the indicator light the light did not come on. This defeats the purpose of having a pilot light.

They are pricey enough that i would feel bad about having to buy new ones. No power to my porch. They want $6. For a defective $20 switch and a $75 electricians invoice.
